Tennessee offers a wide range of recreational activities for sport and adventure enthusiasts. These activities range from walking and cycling to horseback riding and hunting. Tourists can enjoy a myriad of water sport activities on some of the most exquisite locales in Tennessee.</p>
<p>Sports Hall of Fame and Museum is situated in Nashville, which is also a hub for country music. This sports hall offers insight and information about the evolution of Tennessian sports from the early 1800s till date. It offers a complete tourist experience and provides some of the best urban facilities. The Grand Ole Opry, and Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, is worth paying a visit.<br />
The Knoxville Museum of Art displays exceptional work of art of some of the modern artists. Various art camps are conducted in the museum in summertime for the children. Some of the spectacular tourist spots in Knoxville include Knoxville World&#8217;s Fair Park, and Knoxville zoo.</p>
<p>The museums in Memphis such as Children&#8217;s Museum of Memphis, The Rock &#038; Soul Museum, Memphis Blues and Music Museum, and Rock n Soul Museum are some of the world famous museums. Some of the downtown Memphis attractions include The Peabody, the Cook Convention Center, Mud Island, Peabody Place, Autozone Park, the Pyramid, and the Sun Studios.<br />
There are a lot of things tourists and sports enthusiasts can do in Gatlinburg. Most of them take up the Motor Nature Trail, which is almost a 10-mile loop. It offers a picturesque view of the mountains and streams. It is very easy to find appropriate hotels and cabin rentals in Tennessee. Tourists can book them in advance through the Internet to avail of seasonal discounts.</p>

<p>For all those museum lovers out there fantasize of the peacefulness of a museum for an information filled weekend of fun, Memphis has 16 different types of museums to visit.</p>
<p>The Pink Palace Museum is one of the Memphis city&#8217;s biggest museums. The Memphis mansion was the to be home of Clarence Saunders, one of Memphis&#8217; celebrities who started the famous Piggy Wiggly stores, before the company was forced to file for bankruptcy.</p>
<p>Some of the other intriguing museums are the National Civil Rights Museum, which takes you back through the civil rights struggles of Memphis city as well as the nation, enabling you to set foot into the world of yesterday. The Memphis &#8216;Rock n Soul&#8217; museum, &#8216;Slave-haven Underground Railroad museum&#8217; are just some of the other popular museums there.</p>
<p>Apart from museums, there are some places in Memphis that a tourist or anyone else just has to see. The Mississippi River is an example of such a place. It is the second largest river running through the country and acts as Memphis&#8217; western border. There are a lot of establishments at the banks of this river that enable you to sit by it and relax. There are also a lot of parks and some water recreations that one can enjoy there.</p>
<p>Beale Street is one of Memphis&#8217; busiest streets with a vibrant intoxicating pulse that is both entertaining and refreshing at once. Bars, restaurants and coffee houses line the street, enticing tired customers with refreshments. It also houses clubs and live bands, for those dying to break a leg or get tantalized with music of all sorts.</p>
<p>The AutoZone Park is Memphis&#8217; own baseball stadium and home to the minor league baseball team, the Memphis Redbirds. This is a special place for the people of Memphis, bringing them together to cheer for the team they all support.</p>
<p>One of Memphis&#8217; greatest tourist attractions is Graceland. The home of Elvis, his living conditions and grave can be seen in Graceland. This place is an attraction to all music lovers and Elvis fans and is often thronged with crowds like no other.</p>
<p>The Peabody Ducks is another Memphis tradition since 1932, where their ducks march from their house to the fountain of the famous Peabody hotel to the sound of the King&#8217;s Cotton March. They return back in the evening.</p>
<p>The sounds and sights that one will see in Memphis are unique in their own way. It is a fun place to visit and an even nicer place to stay. The people are friendly as can be and always help make the trip worth its while.</p>

If you&#8217;re looking for a vacation full of excitement, history, and southern charm, then Memphis Tennessee is the place for you.</p>
<p>Memphis a City that dates back over 200 years, also that survived the civil war, and the great earthquake is a warm inviting city for vacationers every year. Famous for its music and barbeque, there are also other things that one can visit while staying in Memphis.</p>
<p>Everyone should visit Beale Street where you still get the feel of that down home blues of B.B. King and Memphis Minnie. On Beale Street you can also get world famous soul food and party the night away with the sound of constant music from an eclectic assortment of musical clubs. It would also be comforting to talk a stroll down on Front Street to the Mississippi River. A ride on the Memphis Queen is always a nice closure to your evening. When the night has died down you can stroll back to you hotel room at the world famous Peabody Hotel and in the morning watch the ducks waddle in to lobby before breakfast. After breakfast, you should visit Elvis Presley Mansion and maybe stay or eat lunch at the Heartbreak Hotel in front of Elvis&#8217;s House. Mud Island, a replica of the Mississippi River is a museum full of enlightening information of Memphis&#8217; past. You can also take a ride on the Monorail and maybe have brunch there. The Pyramid is also a tourist attraction found downtown, Memphis&#8217; very own replica of Ancient Egyptian&#8217;s Pyramids.</p>
<p>There are other social important places to see as well. For instance a trip to Memphis wouldn&#8217;t be quite complete with a visit to the Civil Right Museum. There you can get the history of Civil Rights Movement, get a historical perspective, and even see where Martin Luther King was slain. The controversial replica of the Statue of Liberty is housed in Memphis at World Overcomers Church. It has received national attention, so don&#8217;t forget to stop by and get a snapshot.</p>
<p>Memphis&#8217; very own NBA team, The Grizzlies play at the FedEx forum downtown. Go watch them in action while you&#8217;re in town. The Peabody Place, located in downtown Memphis is another great way to spend a day in Memphis. Shop in the malls, hang out at Jillian&#8217;s, or enjoy the IMAX theatre.</p>
<p>You can&#8217;t leave Memphis without stopping by the Memphis Zoo. Memphis&#8217;s Zoo is a large fantastic zoo that also features the Panda Exhibit. After the zoo, the Pink Palace Museum and the Brooks Art Museum are a must.</p>
